2008-2009 Supply List
Supplies
School supplies are ‘consumables’ and must be replaced periodically. When
your child finds the need to replace an item, he or she is asked to write it
in the Daily Planner as a take-home reminder. The teachers are not always
able to provide consumable-type supplies. Map Pencils (colored pencils),
lead pencils, glue sticks,and highlighters are always a needed item. While
they are on sale...stock up!!
Here is a listing of the supplies needed for success in Fifth Grade:
It is not a required supply, but we have found that the students have
greater success with organization while rotating classes if they keep their
paper, supplies, and other materials in an Accordion-Style Portfolio File.
• 24 count box of crayons
• 24 count box of map pencils
• 12 #2 pencils pre-sharpened if possible
• 1 pkg. 3x5 index cards
• 2 red ballpoint pens
• 2 black erasable pens
• 2 highlighters YELLOW
• 1 Customary/Metric Ruler
• 1 pair Fiskars Scissors SHARP TIP
(5”-8” inches long—not the tiny ones!)
• Elmer’s glue – Clear
• 2 LARGE glue sticks
• 1 LARGE zippered pencil bag
• 1 binder to be used to contain and organize materials
• 1 package Dividers
• 4 Wide-Ruled Spiral Notebooks (70 pages)
• 3 packages of wide ruled notebook paper (200 sheets)
• 4 folders with pockets & brads (1 yellow, 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green)
• 1 packages large size(12X18)Assorted construction paper (100 sheets)
• 1 large boxes of Kleenex
